House C

House C is a single-family residence in the Caicaguana area, El Hatillo municipality in the city of Caracas. The site is characterized by its narrow proportion and steep slope, as well as by its beautiful views over the small valley of which it is part.

The clients, a young family, enthusiasts of outdoor activities and sports such as mountaineering, caving, diving, etc; They made it clear from the outset that they wanted a house with abundant natural light, relatively compact, integrated into their environment, and using low cost materials

The volume of the house is not perceived at first, the place is presented simply as a platform for recreation and enjoyment of the landscape, as if it were a gazebo in a park with barbecue, light cover and on a surface of grama. Then, descending the access staircase, we entered a sequence of spaces of different conditions that allow us to explore the singularity of the topography as the volume emerges towards the south of the plot.
